The preparations for this trip to the United Arab Emirates began a few months ago, after deciding that the option of making this getaway during a long stopover on the way to an Asian country never quite fit in with us. So we decided that it was best to find dates to start organizing the trip to the United Arab Emirates, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Rub ‘al Khali , to which in the end we will dedicate 9 days, including a couple of days at the end, which we will spend in the desert, to know a little more thoroughly what they say, is the largest sand desert in the world.
The first thing we raised were the dates, since something very important to value on a trip to the United Arab Emirates is the high temperatures that exist at certain times of the year. In this case, we discarded the summer months completely and we opted for the second half of October, at which time the temperatures are usually more stable and do not usually exceed 35-40 degrees in any of the places we want to visit.
Keep in mind that the best time to travel to the United Arab Emirates is between the months of October to March, the rest of the months being the most complicated due to the high temperatures, which from what we have read, can exceed 50 degrees. in some parts of the country.
Route through Dubai on the trip to the United Arab Emirates
Our arrival in Dubai will be at 11 at night, so in order not to take too long the procedures, we have decided to make the transfer to the hotel with a private transfer and thus try to be resting as soon as possible, for the next day, to really start the trip to the United Arab Emirates.
With this already decided, the first day in Dubai we will dedicate to visit some of its most symbolic places such as the Dubai Mall, the largest shopping center in the world, see the Burj Khalifa from the outside, walk through Safa Park and spend the rest of the morning at Umm Suqeim beach, from where you have incredible views of the Burj Al-Arab, the only hotel in the world with 7 stars.
In our case we have reserved this Entrance to the Burj Khalifa online, since in addition to being much cheaper than doing it there, it allows us to secure the place at the time we want.
After the experience, the idea is to visit the Souq Madinat, a souk that is very close and how could it be otherwise, take the opportunity to see the nightly fountain show that takes place every day at the Burj Khalifa.
Remember that we will explain all this in full detail in the Travel Guide to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Rub ‘al Khali .
Day 2
The trip to the United Arab Emirates continues with the second day in Dubai in which we will take advantage of the morning to get closer to Kite Beach, one of the most famous beaches in the city and then to Mall of the Emirates, another very famous shopping center, all for its indoor ski slope.
In the afternoon at 3 o’clock we will start an activity that we really wanted, due to the good opinions we have read about it and that it is none other than an excursion to the desert to see the sunset and enjoy a dinner with a show.
We have reserved the Desert Safari option with dinner and show, of about 6:30 hours, which includes dune bashing on the red dunes, sunset in the dunes, dinner and a show, as well as optional activities such as sandboarding. Here, the option to rent sports cars Dubai is also available for you, through any super car rental service provider.
Day 3
The third day in Dubai of the trip to the United Arab Emirates we will dedicate to visit the Bur Dubai and Deira neighborhoods, which will take us to the old Dubai , visiting the Gold Souk (Gold Souk), the Spice Souk, Heritage House, the Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum’s House, Al-Ahmadiya School, Souk Deaira Creek and the Dubai Museum and then cross the Dubai Creek in a traditional boat, a natural estuary that goes into the land approximately 10 kilometers, and arrive at Bur Dubai where We will visit the Al Bastakiya area, the Al Bastakiya Mosque and Al Fahidi Street and some of the souks in the neighborhood.
If we have time, which we hope so, before returning to the apartment, we will visit the Jumeira Mosque and go to the Dubai Frame or Marco Dubai, one of the latest attractions that have been inaugurated in the city and that is why we have read, it is a real wonder.
Day 4
The fourth and last day in Dubai of this trip to the United Arab Emirates we will dedicate it to know another of the most famous and most iconic areas of the city, which is none other than Palm Jumeirah, where we will go to the Atlantis Hotel, one of the most famous hotels in the world, and then go to eat at The Observatory, from where we have read, the views of the Palm Tree are incredible.
