I know we’ve been through a lot together, and this may sound corny, but I want you to know that I’m so thankful to have you in my life as my best friend. I couldn’t have gotten through the last year without you being there supporting me, even when I wasn’t sure what to do myself. You’re always there when I need you, and no matter how many times we get on each other’s nerves. We always find our way back to friendship, because it just feels right between us.
1) I Love How We…
You’re my best friend and I love how we make each other laugh; we truly enjoy spending time together. But it seems like lately, we never get to see each other. When we do it’s only for a short period of time. It feels like all our time is getting spent talking on text or through social media, but that doesn’t seem to be enough anymore. So I was wondering if you would like to spend some real time with me today? We can head down to coffee shop and catch up for a while. Later on we can grab dinner and really spend some quality time together. So we don’t take each other for granted.
2) I Hope That…
I hope that on every single day of your life, someone appreciates you. I hope that on every night of your life, you sleep soundly knowing how special you are. I hope that on all of your bad days, someone is there to say I love you and brighten your mood. I hope that whoever gave birth to you never has to regret their decision -you are one of a kind. You deserve nothing but happiness in life and I am blessed to be able to call myself one of your best friends! Happy National Best Friends Day!
3) I Admire That…
You and I have been friends for years. That’s an accomplishment of monumental proportions given that you’re my only real friend. I look up to you so much, and on National Best Friends Day. It’s my sincere honor to tell you what I admire about our friendship. First, I admire your loyalty. You are there when times are good, but even more so when times are bad. It means a lot to me knowing that when things get rough at work or with my love life. There is someone in my corner who always has my back no matter what happens.
4) I Respect That…
One of my favorite parts about having a best friend is knowing I can always count on you. So, on National Best Friends Day (I didn’t make up that holiday – but if I did, we’d be best friends and I’d call you mine), all I want to say is: Thanks for making my life easier and better. We may not always agree and we might not always like each other (I mean, we ARE human), but it doesn’t matter. You understand me better than anyone else does. So whatever comes our way – or whatever stupid stuff we do – it doesn’t really matter as long as we still have each other.
