This feature will come in handy when BBC lands in Cambodia.

BBC Journalist Penelope Robinson wants to do a documentary on critically endangered species of Irrawaddy Dolphins in the Mekong River of Cambodia. Freshwater Irrawaddy Dolphins have made it to the Red List of Threatened Species of The International Union for Conservation of Nature. She will be travelling from London with her show Producer Arthur Roberts and Cameraman George Evans. She has booked Business Class of Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 SQ 305 for three passengers including herself.

They have a connecting flight in Singapore!

After the waiting in-between period of over two hours, all three boarded Boeing 737 SQ 154 of Singapore Airlines from Singapore Changi Airport. And in 1 hour 55 minutes, they reached Phnom Penh International Airport in Cambodia.

They all are exhausted after the 16-hour flight and now just want to sleep!

Penelope install the Gojek Clone App and was forced to book a 7-seater Mercedes Benz SUV to accommodate three passengers. It is because when she wanted to book a 4-seater Chevrolet Sonic Sedan, the app warned her that not more than two passengers can ride in such small cars. The Taxi Driver and the BBC crew wore face masks throughout the ride and were regularly sanitizing their hands to comply with the Safety Checklist of the App. They were also instruct to handle their personal luggage on their own and pay via in-app wallet.

They reached Dara Airport Hotel in 10 minutes!

Penelope pays 31.46 GBP to the Taxi Driver via the in-app Wallet payment despite the local currency being Cambodian Riel. This feature enables foreign tourists like Penelope and Arthur to transact with ease without the hassle of going through currency conversion glitches!

They slept like a log and woke up at 9 in the morning!

BBC Producer Arthur installs Gojek Clone App in his iPhone 12 Pro and books a Tour Guide. Tour Guide Rathanak Sok is a native to the Kratie province and is well versed with the Cambodian National language Khymer and is fluent in English. He owns a Hyundai SUV and informs them that he’ll pick them up by 10 in the morning.

But they haven’t even eaten anything yet! And it is going to be at least a six hour journey! Gojek Clone App will fill your hungry bellies!

Arthur orders Spicy Beef and Leek Soup and Stir-Fried Octopus for himself, while Penelope wants a Big Seafood Hot Pot for herself and Marinated Pork Barbeque for BBC Cameraman George. But Dae Jang Geum Restaurant has only a Dine-in or Take-Away facility with no in-house Delivery Drivers. Not to worry, the App has its own army of Delivery Drivers. One of them will deliver it to the Hotel before the Tour Guide arrives. They again used the in-app wallet to pay 85 GBP to the Restaurant.

With big fat bellies, they are off to the Mekong River to capture the beauty of Irrawaddy Dolphins!

Just North of Kratie is the Mekong River which is home to the last remaining 15-20 Freshwater Irrawaddy Dolphins. Penelope starts interacting with the local community to understand the deep religious significance of these Dolphins as they are revered as sacred animals by the Khymer and the Lao community. The Tour Guide Rathanak is helping her with the translation. She digs in deeper and tries to understand what is endangering them the most. Natives complain that these Dolphins are often unintentionally caught by fishermen as they get entangled in the fishnet. Meanwhile, the cameraman puts on a scuba-diving suit and dons a waterproof camera to get up and close with the Irrawaddy Dolphins.

Conclusion:

Gojek Clone App has transformed Kong-Kea Chan’s life because of its commission-based business model. Service Providers have to pay him a certain percentage of the bill as commission. And only Kong-Kea can decide the commission rates of different services that’s being rendered through the platform.
